Kinda canal flows quietly through the idyllic Östergötland county. From the impressive oak landscape and the large plains in the north down through the scenic forested areas in the south.

Kinda canal is not as famous as it´s neighbor Göta canal, but just as nice. The canal has 15 locks and to a large extent follows the natural cause of Stångån south from Linköping, thereby connecting the lakes Åsunden (starting from Horn), Ämmern, Järnlunden, Little and Large Rängen, Erlången, Roxen – all the way to Göta canal at the locks at Berg. Here too you can take the boat in one direction and catch a bus back to the car.
